H&M cosmetic goodies: neautral, nude tone eye shadow palette, smoky eye eye shadow palette, matte top coat nail polish, deep bue nail polish, pink glitter nail polis. A fashion blogger review on H&M cosmetics
Hi!
Maybe some of you might remember that at the start of November I went on a cruise to Stockholm (if not HERE you can see my photo diary of it) and one of the main stops was obviously H&M! Why obviously you might ask?

Well, because, first of all, I think it is pretty much safe to say that H&M is my all time favorite store and Sweden is the home place of the gigant retailer. Second of all, I went to check out their stores out of curiosity, because I think most of you might know already that I am working at H&M for over a year now & I just wanted to compare the stores in Stockholm to stores in Riga, like, for example, if the prices are the same, the layout of the stores, whether there were differences in sortiment etc.

As I didn’t had time to try on any clothes, I decided to buy some things from H&M cosmetics section, because in Latvia’s H&M we don’t have H&M cosmetic + I got to use my Staff card for the first time internationally! I ended up buying eye shadows & nail polishes!

I think this palette will be a great addition to my evening makeup products! It cost $5.95

On the contrary this neutral tone palette will be perfect for my day look. I find this as a cheaper and smaller version of Urban Decay Naked palette (which actually is on Christmas wishlist, hopefully boyfriend got all the hints I have been dropping lately, haha)

For me it is impossible to have too many nail polishes, I picked out one glittery nail polish as I love having sparkly nails, I also got one in that beautiful deep blue color- it is so mesmerizing, I bet when I will paint it on my nails, I will be staring at them the whole day! 😀 And I also got a matte top coat, I have actually tried it out, it looks flawless on black nail polish, on the other colors not so much- the manicure looks a bit messy and as my boyfriend said- misted!
I have been thinking about this a lot- would you want me to review these products or for this matter any kind of beauty products? Like, for example, share with you what I liked or disliked ( with pictures of course!)
Do you like beauty review posts?

Ooh that second palette would work perfectly for everyday. And ooh that matte top coat – I can't find them at the H&Ms here in the States, unfortunately :[

Great buys – I do indeed love beauty reviews and I would love to see you do one on the palettes :]

Of course Maddie, please do a beauty review post of these products! I never used H&M make up and, being a make up junkie, I'm so curious to see what is your opinion! Both palettes looks great, as well as the nail polishes, well done! xo

Hi Maddie, i didn't even know that H&M sold makeup! I like the palettes you have chosen, really versatile and wearable for all occasions, the smokey one is so interesting to me that it features a bold purple hue. I would love to see how you wear it. I like the nude shades for every day wear. The nail lacquers are quite pretty too. It was really great hearing your opinion on my last post.

Well beauty products reviews certainly tell others about the product might like to try. It is always a good idea to look at the reviews b4 buying. So yeah, your posts might help.

You should review it! I don't think I've read any reviews on H&m makeup, I don't think I've seen a lot of it in stores either? That palette is totally a dupe for the naked palette, and I'm sure at a fraction of the cost! I bought a wet n wild palette this summer which was also very similar. Totally agree that you can never have too much polish 😉

you picked some great things — would love a review of them!
& when I worked in retail I loved to go to other stores & see the layout/what items that had different. I worked in the suburbs so NYC always used to kill me with their gorgeous layout/items!

Dearest Maddie, this is really cool that you used your H&M staff card the first time for an international purchase in Stockholm! And I think it was a good decision to buy cosmetics as you can´t get cosmetics from H&M in Latvia. It´s interesting what you write about it, and a good alternative to your outfit post (which I always like very much and especially I like you eBay posts).

Wish you a happy start in the weekend!

Well, personally, yes, I would love if you do a review on these products. In fact I went yesterday to H&M to see the new clothing they had and I found myself looking at the cosmetics department and instantly the neutral tone palette that you bought, caught my attention – I must say that it also reminds me of the Urban Decay Naked palette haha. However, I didn't buy it because I was like "I'm not sure if it's worth it or not… I have no idea if this is good quality or not" and I ended up not buying it. However, if it's good quality I'll be tempted to do it! But of course, doing the review it's totally up to you 🙂 Oh and let me say that the nail polishes look adorable as well 🙂
