Hi!
Christmas has finally arrived! Ever since I was little I have always been eagerly waiting for Christmas and this year was not different! 🙂
I don’t have anymore Christmas pictures to show you except the one you already saw with the gingerbread mooses I made with my niece couple of days ago! But I will surely take a lot of pictures this evening as my house is decorated so beautifully! My parents bought some new ornaments and there is nothing more exciting than seeing the whole house decorated in something new and I might say shiny as well! 🙂

My Christmas spirit was a bit discouraged as I was working yesterday and believe there are not many things that can ruin the Christmas feeling more than working in a retail shop around the holidays! My spirits were up when I started the work day, but there were so, so, so many people and some of them were pretty rude & some of them were really messy (for example, left fitting room with gazillion clothes & accessories laying spread all over the floor etc), the atmosphere was stressed and not so much Christmasy at all. When I finally got  home at approximately 11pm, I was exhausted and more or less a bit disappointed in people. But then I got a good night sleep and today everything seems nice again as I am surrounded by my most important people, the house is very beautiful & I can already smell the wonderful Christmas dishes! 🙂 Unfortunately there is no snow this year, which is a bit sad as as I don’t remember the last time there was no snow in Christmas! :/
Have you ever felt disappointed in people around holidays like me? How are your Christmas spirits this year? Have you caught the Christmas feeling?
+ if I was already talking about work, do you want to hear something funny? Yesterday I was wearing my holiday sweater and if I counted right, there were at least 5 people who asked me where I bought it & when they heard it wasn’t from H&M, they were so disappointed as they were really wanting to buy it!  There even was a guy who was walking right past the store, but he walked in the shop only because of me, to ask me where I got the sweater! 🙂
Haha & colleagues weren’t calling me in my name, but instead my name of the day was- a little reindeer! So, basically this is how wearing one sweater can change your day! 🙂
Has anything like that happened to you? 🙂

(these pictures were taken this February, but I though that they would accompany this post in a nice manner, the original post here)

Merry Christmas, gorgeous girl! I'm glad that you're recharged after working retail- that would be so exhausting this time of year! Have a great holiday!

To tell the truth I feel no christmas spirit this year, I'm buying presents making decorations, preparing for holidays, but it doesn't help at all. Anyhow, I hear about Christmas here and there, so hopefully it would help me too feel like celebrating and having fun:) I've got to say those photographs of you are adorable as always! You look so pretty and chic, I do love the way this burgundy top fits you, so sophisticated! Those cookies are wonderful as well:) Good job, dear!
Wish you Merry Christmas and great holidays!

i worked retail last year and i HATED it. people are stressed out during the holidays and make it their mission sometimes to suck the happy spirit out of everyone else. keep your head up, lovie!! and dont let them take the happiness away from you (it really isnt anything to do with u, people just get nasty)
have a great, relaxing, happy holiday!

I'm glad that amazing people around you are helping you lift back up your Christmas spirits! Yesterday out shopping with my sisters, there sure was a lot of people in the mall, and they were all rushing to buy things and get things done.. what I wasn't too happy about was customer service at a specific store. Maybe because he was just busy. Hmm. Anyway, merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and your family, Maddie! 🙂 xx

Looking forward to see the Xmas decorations at your place, sounds amazing!:) I'm sorry you had such a bad experience at work, I can only imagine and get, the other day I was at the mall and there were lots of messy people. The poor shop assistants were going mad! There was lots of patience, I admire you!:) And lol for the sweater, for sure you were a cure reindeer!:) Merry Christmas dear Maddie! How great that you posted this pictures because you look wonderful and the pics fits perfect to the Christmas time!

So sorry that you had such an unpleasant day at work, I think there are some things on this worlds which are more pleasant than to work in a retail shop. But I´m sure you managed all very sovereign and at least you had fun with your Christmas sweater which is not from H&M 🙂

Hope you had now a wonderful Christmas so far, I wish you further only pleasant happenings. I was not really in Christmas mood until my lovely husband and I cleaned up our closets 🙂

    Happy holidays!

I definitely understand how you feel. I don't know why shoppers act that way. There's a lack of manners nowadays. I would they feel if someone did that to their HOME, let alone STORE. They wouldn't like it very much. It also shows no respect for the people that are working there. Very inconsiderate. So glad everyone liked your sweater and have a great time at your parents home. It sounds absolutely lovely. Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS! Following you on bloglovin.

There is not much Christmas spirits on my side either, as we are having the first Christmas without snow ever, which is kinda strange and it feels like autumn not the fairy tale winter. Still, love your look! Have happy holidays!
