Another busy week has gone by and, even today I the chance to enjoy the beautiful and sunny weather outside, lie probably most latvians did, because today I had an 8 hour shift from 7:30 till 16:30, so you can say I am a bit tired and all I want to do is to relax and maybe watch some TV shows. But till then I commanded myself to compose together an outfit post for you guys!

These pictures were taken on last Wednesday by my amazing mom- I am really grateful for her patience and willingness to help me out, because she has done such a terrific job in several last outfit photo shoots!
Anyways, I wore this outfit to a dentist appointment and later met up with my mom in city center to go and see two exhibitions! Me and my mom have agreed that once in a month we would have a culture/art day in which we would attend the newest and nost interestings exhibitions at museums or galleries and have a nice brunch or lunch afterwards! 🙂 This time  we went to see one exhibition that was dedicated to Latvian designers and manufacturers- all about original products and ideas that come straight from Latvia; and another exhibition that was dedicated to Two Centuries of Italian portrait painting ( 1580- 1780). I am a big fan of Italian painters and artists, therefore, I was very eager to see this exhibition!
For these events I decided to wear a deep burgundy faux leather skirt from H&M that I snatched on Sale for only 15 euros and a dark color plaid shirt, that I thought would look really well with the skirt! And as the shirt is made of flannel and is more on the casual side, I decided to fancy it up a bit with this beautiful statement necklace!

Līdz ar to zinādama, ka došos uz šīm izstādēm, es nolēmu uzvilkt savus tumši bordo mākslīgās ādas svārkus no H&M, kurus nopirku “atlaidēs” par nieka 15 eiro (oriģinālā cena bija 40 eiro!) Svārkus nolēmu saskaņot kopā ar tumši sarkanu/melnu rūtainu flaneļa kreklu un padarīt šo tērpu nedaudz elegantāku ar  greznu rotu no Ebay!

I love your plaid button-down underneath – it adds an edgy preppy factor that I think is so stylish! Perfect contrast. And that leather skater skirt is so perfect for all seasons. This outfit encompasses such a great mix of preppy, girly, and edgy. My favorite combo!
