Statement sweatshirt

Black & white with hints of red. This combination has been my favorite for as long as I can remember myself being interested in fashion and style.
I love how chic and stylish a black and white outfit looks, but for some reason I can never really stick to only two of these colors and I always add a pop of color. I have been brave enough to wear red lip stick only for couple of years ( not more than 3 or 4), because before I just didn't think it looked age appropriate and I, honestly, just wasn't ready for it. Red color really intimidated me and I felt like everybody was staring at me. Only now I understand how silly I was, because now when I wear red ( or other bold color lipstick) I most certainly don't feel shy, rather more empowered and and strong!
The sweatshirt that I am wearing is very similar to one I already have ( remember this outfit?) and I received it courtesy of Lovelywholesale among with this beautiful classic tote bag and this gold triangle necklace ( and with earrings that you were able to see in my last outfit post). I am very satisfied with all three items and I can without any hesitation recommend them if you are in need of similar items, though, the bag and the necklace seems to be sold out right now!

  1. I really like the second outfit! And I feel the same, I've only just begun wearing darker lipstick since college, before that I thought it looked too mature

  4. I feel the same way about lipstick. I used to be too shy to wear such a bold color but now it's more empowering than ever. I feel strong & fun & it's exciting. I like the first look with the scarf. So chic. :]

  7. The lipstick suits you really well now. :) I like the second outfit, though the writing on the shirt looks a bit like a misspelled attempt at a replica... not sure why the manufacturer chose to put this out of all possible text options.

    1. Thank you very much Vita, it took me a while to get used to red lipstick! :)
And speaking of the sweatshirt- the writing is not an attempt to make a replica or to mispell it, but rather to make a interesting and cheeky fun-with-fashion-logos! There are many clothing items with funny sayings like "Bodega Vendetti", "Feline Meow", "Ain't Laurent without Yves" and so, so many more. It just a fun way to play with designer names& logos! :)

If you can't find it in your country, definitely look it up on Ebay, it might be there! Or, you can surely find so many similar sweatshirts with quirky "designer" sayings there! :) Good luck!

Izskaties briniskigi! Un sartas lupas Tev loti piestav.
