zeltini-soviet-missile-base
In my last outfit post I already mentioned the fact that me, my family and my boyfriend went to a former Soviet nuclear missile base called Zeltini.
I didn’t have a previous knowledge of this place, but I can surely say that it was a very, very interesting excursion (with a tour guide) not only in the former missile base, but also in a small museum of USSR that was nearby! I  have always been quite fascinated with historical / military / political places like this, especially from the USSR times ! In addition, history was my favorite subject in high school – I even seriously considered studying history as a University major! Therefore, this experience was truly quite unique and as I said – very interesting, and it definitely made me feel like a part of Latvia’s history! If you ever have a chance to be in Latvia, I would strongly recommend visiting this place! But as I suppose not all of you will ever have this chance, I decided to make a short blog post in which I shared few snaps that I took!
LV

Yes, I am a huge history geek! 🙂 And thank you – I just made several small braids, let them in for the night and unbraided them in the morning! That simple!

Aw, Alex, now you are making me blush! 🙂 I am definitely not very photogenic – it does take a lot of time to have "the perfect shot", well, at least when it comes to outfit photo shoots!
Thank you & have an amazing week as well!

It was a bit scary – especially the tunnels and undergrounf buildings! Wouldn't want to be there at night!

Noteikti iesaku – it sevišķi gida pavadībā, kurš var vairāk izstāstīt gan par pašu bāzi, gan arī interesantu vēsturi!
