Lanzarote | Timanfaya National Park, Crater Caldera Blanca

Tinajo, Las Palmas, Spānija
Sporty style outfit
If you are ever thinking of visiting Lanzarote, then I strongly recommend going adding Caldera Blanca (Timanfaya National Park) to your must-see bucket list, because the views that we saw in the Timanfaya Park while hiking to the Caldera Blanca sleepy vulcanoe crater were truly indescribable.
The spooky scenery with nothing but hard lava continued for miles and miles. In some moments I had a feeling that I am starring in a Star Wars movie, because you couldn't see anything else rather than lava fields and vulcanoe craters, nothing green... nothing alive.
In this particular region of Timanfaya Park there are three vulcanoe craters. As we didn't exactly know how much will the hike take, we decided to head to the biggest crater, the Caldera Blanca one we actually climbed it as well. While the boys decided to go around the vulcanoe, us girls decided to sunbathe a bit on the hard lava rocks :). In total our hike was around 4 hours (boys walked around the crater for an hour) and I would describe it as easy since we also took with us an eight year old child, who similarly to the mountain goats jumped from one lava rock to another. :) I surely highly recommend this place if you are looking a bit for an adventure and exploration!

Ja kādreiz dodies uz Lanzaroti, tad šajās bildēs esošais apskates objekts noteikti ir jāiekļauj savā must-see listē, jo skati, ko mēs piedzīvojam Timanfaya Nacionālajā parkā dodoties uz snaudošo Caldera Blanca vulkāna krāteri bija tiešām neaprakstāmi. Spocīga ainava, kur kilometriem uz priekšu vēršas dažādas krāsas lavas akmeņi. Dažbrīd tiešām bija sajūta, ka atrodos Zvaigžņu karu cienīgā filmā, jo bez lavas laukiem un vulkānu virsotnēm dažbrīd nebija redzams it nekas. Mūsu kompānijā pat izveidojās parodija par slaveno Eolikas dziesmu "Zemeņu lauks" - mūsu interpretācijā šī dziesma skanēja aptuveni šādi: "Lavas lauks, viens vienīgs lavas lauks..." :)

    1. You should definitely come to Europe! Each country is so different and interesting! I have been to a lot of European coutries, but I am still amazed by how unique and beautiful they are! But surely there is a lot to see in the Philippines, therefore, I'd love to go there someday as well!
