What to wear on a summer date
Who could have thought that
National Museum of Arts could be such a beautiful spot for a date? A few
weekends ago (two to be precise) me and my boyfriend went out on small date –
visit the restored National Museum of Art and view the permanent exhibition. I
had already seen it couple of years ago, but it certainly was a great
opportunity to take a look at the renovated rooms as well as refresh my memory
of the lovely Latvian artist paintings. I have always loved going to different
museums and exhibitions, but I had never gone together with my boyfriend who is
not so “artsy”, therefore, it was a big surprise for me to hear that he loved
the modern arts section and that he would love to go to an exhibition/museum in
the near future again. J
Afterwards we went to a lovely cafe where I ordered delicious pancakes and blueberry milkshake. A date surely cannot be considered as a date without food J And, of course, the
day could not be complete without taking my outfit pictures which you can see
in today’s article. Do you like going to museums/exhibitions?

Man vienmēr ir ļoti paticis
J Vai esi jau bijis/usi
atjaunotajā Mākslas muzejā?

Looks like you and I have similar ideas on what makes a good date spot – I went to the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery for a date with my boyfriend as well! Art lovers unite!
And what a gorgeous color palette this outfit has! I love the soft pinks!

Ooh, that sounds really cool! I do like portraits a lot, since it's so interesting to see how the artist has captured the essence and characteristics of a person in a painting!
Thank you dear, the colour combination is my favorite!

    Hi Maddie,

How do you make your pictures so pretty white and bright? Is it a special filter or app?

      Hi Alisa!
Thank you for your comment! I use Photoshop C6 to edit my pictures. Believe there is a lot of work with the highlights/white balance & curves & of course some presets do come in handy as well. If you are interested to find out more, shoot me an email to madara.lieciniece@gmail.com 🙂
