Call me Maddie
Five years have gone by incredibly fast and I can still clearly
remember mself when I was writing the first article for
my blog, which later on was published on the first of September. I think that the first
of September is the “Second 1st of January” since it is also a time for new
resolutions, new contemplations and new beginnings. Honestly, I cannot believe it has
already been five years since I started this mumbo jumbo crazy adventure
which blogging is. Is there anyone out there who has
been reading my blog from the beginning, from the first articles? I’d so love
to know! In September I will most certainly create a separate blog post in which I’ll
reflect on how these 5 years were and what I’ve learnt in them about myself and blogging. I think
that during these five years I have grown so much as a person and I do believe that my blog
has grown as well. Haha, well, at least I’d love to think so 🙂 During this period I
have only taken one pause in 2012 which lasted for couple months, but, all in all, I’ve
been a really dedicated blogger and posted from 10-20 blog posts each month.
Not a single day goes by when I don’t think about my blog or when my nose is not up in my pc creating yet another blog post. My
blog has become such a huge part of my life which actually now falls into routine
(the good one, though) because blogging seems as natural to me as brushing
my teeth or eating breakfast. I am very intrigued to see what my future
development will be and where my blog will be in couple more years. But,
meanwhile, let’s virtually raise a glass of sparkling wine & shout cheers!
In today’s article you can spot the newest addition to my wardrobe – a
very interesting print midi skirt from the store Zaful. This skirt immediately
caught my eye amongst other skirts in the shop because of the beautiful print
which reminds me of a coastal city in Italy. So romantic and dreamy… I
also quite like the design and the length of skirt which allows me to wear it
to work as well. It’s actually interesting to see how office work has
influenced the way I look at clothes, because when I am shopping the first thought that comes trough my mind is whether I’ll be able to
wear the clothing item to work. I spend the majority (5 days) of the week in office,
therefore, it would be silly of me to buy only casual clothes that I can wear
on the weekends.

atceros to kā 31. augusta vakarā klabināju
Goda
vārds, nespēju noticēt, ka ir pagājuši jau pieci gadi kopš blogoju. Vai kāds/a
To noteikti būtu ļoti interesanti uzzināt!
noteikti ir audzis man līdzi.
neskaitot to, katru mēnesi esmu publicējusi aptuveni 10-20 ierakstus un tiešām

ļoti interesanta raksta svārkus no veikala Zaful. Šie svārki man uzreiz iekrita
rakstu, kas man atgādina kādu Itālijas piejūras pilsētiņu.

Wow what a stunning skirt! Like an art work. I have a very similar one which I bought recently and have been wearing a lot ever since. Love the pattern mixing with the stripes.
