London on my skirt | Sammydress

Tangerines, oh tangerines - my whole room smells like tangerines. Starting today I have welcomed the tangerine preholiday season! 😊 As most goodies (veggies and fruits) that came from my countryside have been eaten (well, except for apples, I think I have gazillions of boxes left and I'll be able to eat them till spring), I have started looking for alternatives. Today while doing grocery shopping I felt my eyes wander around the Christmas section - I almost bought gingerbread cookies, mulled wine and even some Christmas tree decorations. This Christmas will be the first Christmas in our new home and as we have a little baby (or in other words a little, 6 months kitten Mickey) so we need to do everything in our power to show him how magical the Christmas time is and create our family's traditions. Haha, are me and my boyfriend the only ones who seriously think of their pets as real children? 😂
I did leave the shop with only tangerines in my shopping bags because I reminded myself that it's not the time yet to get all Christmas crazy as I have planned to start Christmas shopping and decorating from December. Have you already started preparing for the holiday season?
As the intro of this article was about the holiday season, I have to mention that it was definitely the source of inspiration for today's outfit look. Red is not my favorite colour and I wear it quite rarely, but when I do wear it, it's mostly in December, because I love how red pops against darker shade clothes which are the most common for this season. I am wearing my new skirt from Sammydress and when I first saw it on the store, my eyes were immediately drawn to the unique print which reminds me of London because of the red buses and telephone boxes. I think that this outfit suits the holiday theme perfectly and I am sure I'll wear a similar combination for Christmas. So even though it's still the end of November, it's never too early to start planning your holiday outfits, right? 😊
