A staple piece for winter: denim dress | Rosewholesale

European fashion blogger
As I already mentioned it in one of my previous blog posts, I have created another outfit wearing my new camel coat. This time I have styled it with my new denim dress from Rosewholesale. I really love the cut and silhouette of the dress; it is very comfortable and perfectly suited for fall and winter because of it’s dense denim fabric which keeps you warm even in the coolest days of the year. I fell in love with the floral embroidery on the chest pocket as it reminded me of something I might be able to find in my moms younger day closet – such a lovely vintage accent.
Lately I feel like I have been incorporating denim more and more in my wardrobe – not only in the form of denim jeans, but also in the form of dresses, jackets and so on. For example, I have been wearing the jacket you can see in this article so much lately. I wear it under my outerwear to keep myself warm on the colder days. As last weekend world got crazy over the Black Friday, I also spent countless hours on many clothing websites including H&M, Simons.ca, Asos etc. browsing the best black Friday deals. And I have to mention that my wish list was filled with denim fabric clothing items. I am surprised that I felt my eyes wander around the denim skirt section, since I promised myself to never wear them again. I wore them way too much in my teenage years and you know the saying that “too much is just too much”. But I see that the fashion circle is turning around and many things are becoming trendy again, therefore, I’ll not be surprised to see myself wearing even more of denim.

Winter outfit inspiration
Did you know that a Latvian (American immigrant) named Jacob W. Davis was actually the one who invented modern day jeans? His creation became a reality when he approached Levis and asked for financial backup for the patent. It’s so cool that nowadays millions of people daily walk around in these kind of jeans thanks to him.

Man liekas ļoti forši, ka mūsu pašu latviešu izgudrojumu ikdienā nēsā miljoniem pasaules iedzīvotāju!
