Feeling romantic in Verona | OOTD & Travel diaries

Verona, Italy
Verona for sure is a city for romantics and little lovebirds. In the three hours we spent at this beautiful, beautiful Italian city I did catch the romantic feeling as you can feel in it the air all around the city. The must see place we really wanted to visit was the Verona Arena as it is the third largest amphitheatre in the whole world, but sadly for us they were preparing for a musical that was scheduled for the evening and we weren't allowed to visit it in the day 😕
Of course, a visit to Verona would be incomplete if we didn't visit the Juliet's balcony, but as lovely as it was. we did kind of ended up feeling a bit disappointed as in order to get there you have to stomp in a line filled with tourists from all around the world. So nothing really that romantic. But despite everything I did quite enjoy the city and lovely squares it has. I maybe would advise visiting Verona in spring or fall when it's less crowded, but all in all it I do not regret visiting it even in the summer heat.
I quickly want to mention my outfit as I am wearing one of my this summer's favorite dresses - a leaf print dress from Sammydress. The dress was perfect for the romantic city and I loved how easy-breezy it felt on a really hot summer day.  The back detailing must be my favorite!
