A little while ago me and my family inluding my boyfriend went to Lillas Lavender ( lavender field) which is a beautiful place in northern region of Latvia! Not only we had a chance to see the lavender field ( which is a rare sight in Latvia, because our climate is usually very changeable, cold temperatures etc, and as lavender loooves the sun and warmth it is quite tricky to grow them in Latvia’s climate!), but also listen to an interesting story of how they started their lavender business, about lavender harvest and various lavender products and how they’re made!
I have been a really huge fan of lavender for a really long time now – I completely fell in love with them in a trip when me and my parents went to travel around Tuscany, Italy. We stayed at this beautiful countryside house and we had a huge bushes of lavender in our back garden – the sight was amazing, but the scent, oh, it was indescribable! If I’ll ever have the chance of having a vacation house in either France or Italy, planting lavender will be the first thing I’ll do! But meanwhile while I am still dreaming of the future I do use a lot of products that have either lavender or lavender oil in them! What can I say? I am obsessed! 🙂
LV

Thank you! It is my recent favorite! 🙂
Nav jau Francijas lauki, bet labāk nekā nekas. Starpcitu, nagaidi vasaras māju, iestādi jau pie savas tagadējās mājas! Aug griezdamies saulainās vietās. 🙂

As it was an impromptu photo shoot and it was certainly not planned, I didn't pay much attention the outfit details as I wanted to wear something comfortable while traveling around with my family! Though, I am super happy you like it! 🙂
And, you certainly have to go to a lavender field, you'll love it!
I bet it smelled so nice there. I would love to see a bed of purple one day! You look is great!

Aww so pretty! I wanna go to that lavender fields too…never been in a Lavender field as we do not have one in our country. Your are lucky Maddie that your beautiful flowers grow in Latvia! I hope someday I might be able to personally witness the beauty of Latvia too!

Oh, it is such a pity, I bet you would love it there! Lavender is not a typical plant of Latvia, therefore, it is really hard to grow them as they need a lot of sun and warmth and sadly winters in Latvia tend to be very harsh! :/
Wow, do you look stunning in this lavender field. Love the jeans on you and the white draped top, cute sneakers, too. I adore this flower, the scent and the fields are so stunning! I would also love the plant them..
