The first time when I read on Rimmel’s Twitter account that they are making a new Kate Moss lipstick collection called Nude, I was over the moon, because the Rimmel Kate Moss Matte lipsticks have been one of my all time drugstore lipsticks ( I have at least five or six shades)! All summer I was stalking Rimmel’s social media accounts to find out when the collection would be available! I was so jealous when the collection hit stores in UK and other countries, but not Latvia! I had already read some very good reviews on the collection and, honestly, I just couldn’t wait!
Of course, I also stalked my local drugstore and when I had almost given up I finally saw the Nude collection standing in the Rimmel stand! There were available four shades ( 41, 42, 43 and 45) and one lip balm. I, myself, bought lipsticks in shades 42, 43 and 45. Why I didn’t buy the shade 41 or the lip balm? Well, because I think that you can buy better lip balms for the same price ( Nivea Vanilla & Macadamia is still my top favorite) and the shade 41 was a bit too light for both – my lips and for my face skin tone, it just didn’t suit me. But I do believe that it would look great on girls that are a bit paler than I am.

Pirmo reizi, kad Rimmel Twitter profilā izlasīju to, ka uzņēmums nāks klajā ar Kate Moss Nude (miesas krāsas) lūpu krāsas kolekciju, ļoti sapriecājos – jo Rimmel Kate Moss matētās lūpu krāsas ir bijušas vienas no manām lūpu krāsu favorītēm ( man ir nopirkti vismaz pieci vai seši toņi). Visu vasaru aktīvi sekoju līdzi uzņēmuma jaunumiem un lasīju dažādu skaistumkopšanas blogeru atsauksmes kā arī apskaudu angļus un citas valsts pārstāvjus, kas šo kolekciju varēja iegādāties jau no vasaras vidus!
Protams, aktīvi sekoju līdzi arī Rimmel stendam Drogās un biju jau gandrīz atmetusi ar roku, kad septembra beigās Rimmel stendā ieraudzīju jau sen kārotās Nude kolekcijas lūpu krāsas! Drogās bija pieejami četri toņi ( 41, 42, 43 un 45) kā arī lūpu balzāms ( 40). Sev es nopirku toņus 42, 43 un 45. Kāpēc nepirku lūpu balzāmu un toni 41? Tāpēc ka, uzskatu, ka par šo cenu ir iespējams iegādāties labākus lūpu balzāmus ( Nivea Vanilla & Macadamia vēl jorpojām ir mans favorīts!), savukārt, tonis nr 41 bija man daudz par gaišu – manām lūpām un sejas ādas krāsai tas nepiestāvēja. Bet piebildīšu, ka ticu, ka šis tonis varētu labi izskatīties uz gaišākas ādas īpašnieces lūpām.

The pros:
+ The lipsticks have a very soft and creamy texture – it is very easy to apply and blend
+ The lipsticks don’t dry up your lips, even if you wear them for a whole day
+ They last a really long time – at least 6 hours ( though, it has to be reapplied after eating or drinking)
+ The design is very beautiful – so soft and feminine
+ A very reasonable price ( in my local drugstore I bought the lipsticks for 4.30 euros each)
The cons:
– Depends on where you are living, not all shades might be available
– Shades 42 and 45 tend to be sold out ( though, they do restock them after a while)
Plusi
+ Lūpu krāsām ir ļoti maiga un mīksta tekstūra – tās viegli klājas un pludinas
+ Lūpu krāsas nesausina lūpas, pat, ja nēsā lūpu krāsu visas dienas garumā
+ Tām ir ļoti laba noturība – uz lūpām turēsies visas 6h ( vienīgais minimāli jāatjauno pēc ēšanas vai dzeršanas)
+ Ļoti skaists iepakojums – pilnībā atbilst kolekcijas nosaukumam
+ Ļoti saprātīga cena ( uz atlaidēm Drogas nopirku šīs lūpu krāsas par 4.30 eiro)
Mīnusi
– Nav pieejami visi toņi ( kopā kolekcijā ir seši toņi, neskaitot lūpu balzāmu)
– 42 un 45 tonis ir vispieprasītākais, kurus ik pa laikam izpērk
All in all, I think that this collection is definitely successful, because every girl no matter what is her skin tone can find the perfect nude lipstick! I, personally, am happy with all three shades that I bought and in this a bit more than a month, I have used all of them multiple times! The shade that I like the most is 45, because I think that it is the one that suits me the best!

Kopumā es varu teikt, ka kolekcija ir patiešām izdevusies, jo katra meitene var atrast savai sejas ādai un lūpu krāsai atbilstošu Nude kolekcijas lūpu krāsu! Mani personīgi apmierina visas trīs lūpu krāsas, kuras iegādājos un šī nedaudz vairāk kā mēneša laikā ikdienā vairākkārt esmu lietojusi visas trīs lūpu krāsas toņus! Visbiežāk uz lūpām klāju tieši 45 toni, jo tas ir manu lūpu krāsai visatbilstošākais un, manuprāt, man piestāv vislabāk!

I haven't tried these. I did try a matte nude shade from her line and hated it. It was overly drying so I didn't really bother with this range. I do like 42 though, that would have been the shade I would have gone for but you make 45 look really amazing on too.

I have noticed that in general matte lipsticks that are in light shades are quite drying! Though, it did come to me as a surprise because as I said it in my post – Rimmel matte lipsticks are ones of my faves, but fair enough, all lipsticks that I have from that line are either pinks, reds, or violets. I haven't tried their nude matte lipsticks, so I can't comment on that!
