Dressing up a simple grey sweater dress

From time to time I receive some questions regarding taking pictures in public places and how comfortable I feel with the attention that is given to me. Usually I answer that it doesn’t surprise or affect me anymore and I try my best to act as natural as possible and pretend like I just belong there 🙂 But this time I must say that the attention I received during this photo shoot couldn’t go unnoticed since I had never received so many looks and stares – there were even some people who stopped to observe the process and I also received some very kind compliments 💖 And here I thought that during these seven years of blogging nothing could surprise me, well, this photo shoot really did! 🙂

When I first saw this dress in the The Metropolitan Chick store I didn’t think much of it since there were many other dresses that stood out more, but I still decided to try it on. Warm sweater dresses are perfect for winter and that awkward winter-to-spring transition period as they still provide some warmth. The dress really surprised me as I didn’t think I would love the oversized fit on me as much as I did! A lot of oversized dresses usually look like potato sacks on me, but not this one! It has a really great design and not only it looks stylish, but is very comfortable and will keep you warm during those cooler spring days.

The Metropolitan Chick store is located in Riga, Skolas street 20.

“The Metropolitan Chick” veikals atrodas Rīgā, Skolas ielā 20.

-OUTFIT DETAILS-

Dress – c/o The Metropolitan Chick
Coat – Lovelywholesale (similar)
Boots – ASOS
Bag – Lovelywholesale (similar)
Gloves – H&M

Considering the fact that this dress is oversized, I wanted add some feminine touches to the outfit with the help of a light pink faux fur coat and accessories. I also wanted to talk real quick about the boots that I am wearing since they’ve become my most favorite pair this spring. They are shiny, comfortable and I’ve already received so many compliments regarding them, plus, they are still available on ASOS!

-TĒRPS-

Kleita – The Metropolitan Chick (sadarbība)
Mētelis – Lovelywholesale (līdzīgs)
Zābaki – ASOS
Somiņa – Lovelywholesale (līdzīga)
Cimdi – H&M

~WITH LOVE~
